I am wondering what are the second-hand upgrades that I can do to this engine by replacing stock parts

I already have EQ length headers and a turbo fuel pump + a diamond ignitor pack and wires

what size injectors will be good in this engine to replace the originals ?
anything i can get to reach 220-230 hp for this motor ? ie 200 whp ?

Sure, contact deltacam.com and get some nasty cams ($450+installation),
get engine management to be able utilize the cams ($$-$2000+)
New fuel injectors ($100+)
Higher compression pistons ($450)
Machinework as needed ($-$$$)
Gaskets, hoses and sensors that you didn't replace with your HG job ($$$)
Tuning by a shop (incl dyno time) ($$$-$$$$)

Are you installing everything yourself?

NA tuning gets real expensive real quick (not that turbo doesn't, just it has much more bang for the buck)

yeah i do all the work myself, aside form the jobs i dont have the tools for, like machining
anything else i am prepared to tackle

i aggree the turbo building is best worth the money, that is why i m not aiming high for NA tuning

what injectors are best in this engine to upgrade too ?

I m not looking to crack this engine open at all

I have a EJ2.34T build I m saving the big dollars for

70hp over stock N/A isn't aiming high? Lol

You aren't going to hit 230hp on an NA EJ25 without raising the redline...a lot. And in order to do that without scattering the thing, you'll need to "crack it open."

BTW, nitrous is not natural aspiration, so I'm not counting that.

Without engine management, you won't be able to see any benefits from bigger injectors - you'll just run pig rich.

ok if that is the reality i 'm facing then i 'll just wait for the turbo build

thanks again tho

Well, take a Honda for example...say a B18C1, which is a run of the mill GSR engine. Makes about 170hp from a 1.8L...thats about 95hp/L, which is pretty good for a stock street car. Translate that same specific output to a 2.5L, it would be 238hp. Fantastic, right? Well, consider that the B18 makes that peak HP at 7600rpm. And the EJ25D redlines at 6500rpm.

Realistically, there are only 2 ways to get a lot more HP out of an NA engine (assuming it doesn't have any horrible built-in breathing problems like an old 5.0) 1) Increase the displacement, or 2) Increase the redline and the high RPM breathing. Neither one of those can be done without swapping internal parts.
