Sweet. Im getting them with my first pay check at my new job. :D cant wait to have the wagon lowered, edited a few pics to see what it will look like.
Went and measured about where the body will be with the wheels witht the 1.5 drop eibach says the springs do, and then edited it on paint. xD

if you want to lower your car that low, you'll need more than just springs. you'll also need legacy shocks. i had an 01 OBW that was lowered w/ H&R springs, LGT stock shocks and STI top hats. Got the springs off ebay for $100, used LGT stock shocks for $80 from craigslist and top hats for $25 and I did the install myself. All for under $300. Here are a couple of pics after the install.

Question so i looked at the webistie and it only has these Eibach springs for the outback, is it possible to use these for a 2000 BH legacy wagon? i would like to go with eibach springs. and the only ones i have seen listed for the BH where the H&R spings not sure if one is better than the other?? or if they are interchangable or ont??

Curious how it will look with the OB shocks... :/

make sure you get the impreza or the STI top hats, as the H&R springs are slightly tapered with smaller diameter coil on top. Therefore, stock top hats are too large for the H&R's and would not provide proper seating. STI's top hats match H&R's top coil perfectly. You can re-use the stock top mounts. The PN for the top hat is 20323FA000, which can be had for about $11/piece at subaru genuine parts. You will need two, one per side. The total drop w/ H&R & Legacy shocks is about 3", since the Legacy shocks are shorter than the OBW.

W/ OBW shocks, you'll only get 1.5" drop and you'd still have quite a bit of ground clearance.

Both H&R and Eibach make good quality products. My bros had Eibach Pro-Kits in their old cars with stock shocks and they rode like stock. Eibachs give you the same drop for the front and the rear. H&R gives more drop for the front, which is the reason I went with H&Rs because the OBWs have larger front wheels fender gap than the rears' (as do most cars) and the springs make the fender gaps even.

I think youre talking about the top spring perch, not the tophat. The tophat is the part that contains the bearing and studs that attached to the car body. The perch is the plate that holds the top of the spring.

my fender gaps were never even. they can not be even on a 3rd gen since the gaps are not on the same body lne. the reas are lower than the front.

also i never used the damn impreza or sti perchs. mine worked fine. i also sold them to a member on here. cont remember who off the top of my head. he has had no problems that i have heard of.

if i were to do it again i would go with the group n top mounts.

Yeah, several states use that logo. Flat4va, and I believe NC uses it as well for theirs
