1999 Forester

My Legacy is at the dealership getting some work done. Even though I have another car to get around I took the opportunity to drive another Subaru. I was hoping for a WRX but no such luck. I got stuck with a 99 Forester. Anyway I figured I share my opinion about it just for the hell of it.

The suspension is sloppy (obviously). I don't care for the interior (or the exterior). This thing seems to have some pep. It's up and off the line faster than my GT, wtf is up with that? Also where the hell is the boxer sound? It's the same drivetrain as a Legacy/outback.

I'd take a manual transmission Forester any day, but I'd have to commit blasphemy and drop it.

Actually the interior is from the Impreza, and so is the drivetrain.

The Foresters are based on the Impreza platform (late 90s early 2000s).
