i just got a 2000 legacy L series and am wondering if a b4 hood is interchangeable with mine, and where i can find one and also the head lights

yes, and yes. search the members ride threads for members that have done this. as for the hood, a b4 hood is lighter and will fit. if you go get a baja turbo hood it will work as well, just not be as light as the b4 hood. light you can check the for sale threads, ebay, YamazakiSubaru as he sales part from japan. once i get my house and everything setup i will be selling parts as well.

To clarify, the '98-'00 B4 still had a steel hood. Only the Blitzen had an aluminum hood in '00. Then in '01 all the turbo models got aluminum hoods. In '02 the hood fitment changed a little, so it won't fit very well with the cars in the US.

Long story short - if you are looking specifically for a light weight aluminum hood, you want an '01. Otherwise you're getting the same thing as a Baja hood for more money.
