The engine is flooding on acceleration when at lower revs.

This post needs more information. What car are driving? Automatic or manual transmission? At a general level I'd check the usual maintenance items - air filter, fuel filter, plugs, wires, etc.

95 Subaru Legacy L, Auto, there is an engine light on but haven't been able to check the error code.
