so ever since ive had the fogs, ive never has the projector hooked up, ive been running the reflector part hooked up straight to the parking lights no relays or switches... so there's always been an unconnected wire which is red i believe. my goal is to make the projectors independent but when i connect to the red wire from the left fog to the right fog, they both come on dimly..

here is how i have it hooked up now:

drivers side fog:---------: connected to

purple wire------------red wire on turn signal
black wire----------- black wire on turn signal
red/yellow------->>unconnected<<

pass side fog:-----------:connected to

green/blue -----------red on turn signal
black wire ----------- black on turn signal
red/yellow--------->>unconnected<<

I believe this is the correct description for your wiring woes

drivers side fog:---------:

purple wire------------ ground for side fog
black wire----------- 12V +
red/yellow------- ground for Projector

pass side fog:-----------:

green/blue ----------- ground for side fog
black wire ----------- 12V +
red/yellow--------- ground for Projector

JDM Projectors?
Red and Green to a +12v source
Black to ground.
Or the otherway around.

It all depends on how you want to run the lights.

Run both lights at the same time like the sugestion above or put the red/green on separate sources/switches.

That's for the Projector fogs.
3 wires comes out of these.
black(2 in the same color spliced together)
Green (+Reflector part)
Red (+Projector part)
Ground the black wires, Green wire up to the positive side of your parkinglights and red to a switch to control the projectors.

Im retrofiting a set of these to my BE so i have a set:P
