So today I tackled changing the bulbs for the gauge cluster. Through the diy I was able to get it done. But the only differance was the diy was done for the early models and the center console was a bit dif in my 01. I got all of the little clips loose on the wood trim.
I took out the trim by the shift linkage, i unscrewed and removed the rubber tray at the bottom of the stero stack. But i could not get the thing free! the only place it was connected was at the bottom of the stereo stack. I put my hands in there and yanked like mad coouldnt free the thing. I did not see or feel any clips in there. so what the heck am i missing??? :roll:
On a side note...the red bulbs i used for my gauges look great lit up now :lol:
