Chrome trim on a BD

I think some of you USDM BDs had chrome trim around windows and fenders standard. Anyone have any pictures of this?

I'm still trying to decide where the chrome can go...

negative on the chrome. it looks cheap and crappy on subarus

Yeah, but i'm trying for a VIP style look. I think with the right mods, it would complement the car.

alot of vip cars here in japan are blacked out with some chrome rims. not really with trim.

i think a murderd out black vip car looks better than one with chrome trim. to me the chrome looks like a honda guy bought it down at the local parts store.

Well i'm pretty new to the VIP scene and think BDs have potential. Murdered out looks alright but it feels missing and doesn't pull off the elegance as much. I'm trying to stay away from that honda look at all costs and am only putting minimal tasteful chrome on.

Yeah my 95 has a chrome strip right at the bottom of the windows. I don't even have a pic of it beause it's so subtle, but it definitely wasn't there on my 98.

my 97 brighton came with a chrome strip along the bottom of the windows... when i painted my car i was thinking of getting rid of it, but it grew on me.

i would never go chrome around all the side windows though. i think that looks ridiculously tacky.

I think the straight window strip looks great on the wagon. Coupled with tint and a dark coloured car, it should add class.

Did the USDM 2.5GT come with this lower strip?

An easy way to get chrome trim on the wagons is to just peel off the black rubber around the windows. Free modz.

Gt's came with them blacked out from my knowledge, but don't quote me on that. Definitely the L's came with them for sure.

Alright, looking on ebay there are 7mm or 12mm. Which one? I'm leaning towards the 12mm for the bottom of the window...
