Yes, it looks like Wisconsin will get dumped on heavily! Over the next day, we're supposed to get 9-15" of snow!!!

I'm so excited! If this actually happens, I will post videos, pictures, etc :D

That's not a blizzard. Go to NYC 2.5 FEET....now THAT'S a snowstorm. :)

Blizzard defined as:

A snowstorm with substantial snow, and 35+ mph winds, 1/4 mile visibility.

Not just "A lot of snow" ;)

Besides, I can still play in a 6"...hell, 6" almost bottoms my car out

She keeps plowing though.

This Morning:

Last night:

We're supposed to get 8-10" more :)

Its really fine snow (like sand almost) so even though there's only about 2" of it, its heavy and very slippery. The winds are blowing the snow around so much, that the plows haven't gotten out to our road yet. No school today, because of the lack of plowing.

donuts and various other stuff later :D

yeah, and that was only a little bit into the storm...its snowing at an incredible rate.

You should see the 1' drifts we're getting now. It's been snowing for 18 hours now...we're probably up to 6" at least, and the storm's only half over...

edit: The roads are too dangerous...no drifting today...when I was helping my dad with the mail route, I saw the stupidity of people driving...not gonna mix it up with them (If it were just me, I would have no bones about it).

Maybe a little video of me going down my road or something...I dunno...

I'd trade snow and drifting for S-bend hills and cliffhanger roads anyday!

agreed. I'd rather have the ability to hold the road, than the ability to slide around on it...even if its willingly, drifting is dangerous...I don't have any huge parking lots near me.

This should make you guys laugh, we are under a heavy snow warning,
we are suppose to get 2 to 4 inches. :smt005 Don't laugh I gaurentee kroger has no bread or milk. We will take it though. Like Mick say, "Ya can't always get what ya want but if you try real hard ya get what ya need."

not much snow here,

but it's -10°F w/a Wind Chill Advisory.

(Arctic air is combining with strong northwest winds to produce wind chills between 25 and 50 degrees below zero!!!!!)

same here. Thermometer is reading -9.8*F
Wind is gusting at about 40mph....
*brrr*
I had to wrestle with the shifter to get it in gear....I couldn't even tell if it was in first, neutral was so frozen! Crazy :?

Wind is gusting at about 40mph....

not too bad, yesterday we had gusts of 70MPH... a local Midas lost their entire roof, and dozens of home owners were lined up outside of our building supply store this morning to buy singles to replace the ones that got ripped of their house in the winds. One gust on top of a local mountain was over 103MPH  Many trees down and a lot of property damage.

But not nearly as bad as the ice storm a few years back...

Wiscon_Mark
02-19-2006, 10:05 AM
what's it down to up there? We got -20*F last night :smt085

My car barely started, I had to push the shifter pretty hard, and I could feel the thickness of the power steering fluid when turning...
