best way to open ecu or tune 2000 bh5 jdm spec

Hi sli members! 1st of all, i want to thank the people behid thjis boards to help me know more about my car! This site is haven to me!:)

I want to ask you guys if there is a program for open ecu for my 2000 model bh5 jdm spec? Cause my tuner here from the philippines (Autoplus zentrum) does not have a program for my ecu...:( he told me to buy a stand alone box (EMS) instead which is kind of pricey to me. Do you guys have suggestions on how to remap my ecu? I'm thinking on apexi afc neo but my other concern is turning off my speed limit w/c is upto 180 kph only. So I'm thinking twice on the afc neo since it does not have removing of the speed limiter option.

I wanna remap my ecu because I THINK! I'm having lack of gas (leaning out) when my 2nd turbo kicks off in 3rd gear, so I am hesitating on pushing my engine to the limits!

How much does it cost roughly? is the Japanese ECU universal to any engine? or i have to find a specific ECU for my car?
