Hey everybody, last update was a very long time ago so I figure I change a few things here and there. I purchased the car from a one owner older lady who used it for her daily and going to and from the mountain for skiing. It is my daily now as well and also used for going snowboarding, biking, and traveling. This is my first subaru and definately not my last. It's got 131,xxx miles and counting. This car, without a question, will have either a wrx or sti full drive train swap once this motor or trans gets weak or fails.

Did you purchase WRX coilovers? How much height adjustment do you have? I have heard that because of all the body spacers in an Outback if you put coilovers on it, even at their highest ride height setting the car will still be slammed. Please verify.

Get coilovers, then a set of those Forester strut-lift blocks.

The coilovers i got are made for our year 93-98 legacy, had them shipped from overseas because there are non in the US. Ordered them through import image racing for $1000. Plenty of height adjustability on mine to deal with the outbacks sub-frame spacers.

Wow, this is offically my favorite car on here. Really well put together. You should give us some more information on the coilovers, I was looking around on their website and didn't see anything on coilovers for our gen Legacys

Just got back from my first long trip with the coilovers. They ride really well, yes they are definately not as comfortable as stock springs and struts but what do you expect.

B5a4 there is no option for our car on their site, you have to go to the wrx and find the bc racing br series coilovers and there is an option for our car. But i would recommend just calling them if you are interested in ordering some, that is what I did just to be sure I got the right ones.

Alright I snapped some photos of the whip on my way back from Ellensburg today. Took the scenic route through the Yakima River Canyon, awesome drive by the way during the fall season.

Heres the URL of the album on photobucket, ENJOY! :grin:

Over this last winter i replaced my clutch, pressure plate, flywheel, and throwout bearing myself. I went in there to replace the throwout bearing because of it squeaking and just did a clutch, pressure plate, and flywheel due to the convience. I also recently replaced my LF wheel bearing because is was starting to howl quite a bit during right hand turns and at freeway speeds. I keep her in tip top shape!

that car looks absolutely amazing, so clean! where did you get the stained glass paint for the fogs? I have been wanting to do it to mine too.

@shoguy
I had to order it online. It's krylon stained glass paint, mine chipped off after a little more than one year.
