update! : 9/22/10

added oil! 1.3 qts.! she leaks.

not really an update but with Sir Reginald Brighton getting a clutch, Russel McSoob was getting jealous :smt022

i will be doing a diag on flashy trans light of doom. no hold button so im not sure what the procedure is but we'll figure it out. its got obd2 so i bet i can just plug in the ole' tech2 and see whats crakin in there...

will also be doing some light rust remediation on the engine trim parts, and some cover up rust repair on pretty much everything else, until spring comes and i can fix the rust proper. ihave a new dremel and some cutting wheels, so im down for whatever! bring it on rust!!!! :smt029

UPDATE! russel had a massive failure to run. car would sputter and die, then it would start and not idle, and run poorly, misfiring etc. after considering the many possibilities for failure, i was guided to the MAF. i unplugged it and the car went into limp home and ran "great". plug it back in? instant death. so after searching up here, i found a maf, installed it, and all is right with the world  , though the trans is still binding. :smt013

one thing at a time, i tell my self, one thing at a time. it almost got sold, lol.

maybe it'll get some act right now, here's hoping :smt023

Act right not obtained. russel went to a new owner. it was a good car, though a poor subaru example. rust in pieces. reggie the wonder wagon is still running somehow, bonus!

cat update! : stopped vomiting on my stuff! im not sure if he's lulling me into a false sense of security or not, but i'll take it.

havnt been on much, since work and work have me swamped

sad news, moved away, sold both my legacys :/ good news! im alive! i should expand on that. i moved to a different state, and when i got here i couldnt find a subaru cheap enough. so i have been driving ...whatever, and of course the old snow monster volvo, until i can find a proper wagon. seeing as how this is the best dang forum on the net, i couldnt stay away forever, even if im legacy free. i did however score a sweet 84 datsun nissan maxima wagon with an l24e in it for 150$, WIN! not driving it yet, needs some shocks and a valve adjustment. :smt007 all in all it's sweet, i'll try and post some pics this weekend. not awd, and not a subaru, but it'll work for now
