If you could still get the Eibach PRO-KIT model springs for the BD/BG series.. RIGHT NOW, would you buy them? Just looking for a little poll here of who would be willing to buy some if they came up on the market. I know I would.. as its nearly impossible to find these. These are some of the BEST springs i've ever owned personally. What you all think? Lets say if you could get a set of 4 for $280 shipped? Just wanna see how big of a fan base these springs have. I to this day have still not found a suspension setup I like as much as these. I can beat the piss out of my car going over broken roads.. and yet they still feel comfortable and lower the car to a great stance! Beats anything on the market today if you ask me!

My car with KYB + Eibachs:

I just honestly think they can't be beat. Not for street performance. They are the PERFECT springs for HIGH spirited daily driving.

BTW.. post up pics of your eibach setup if you got em!

kyb + H&R > KyB + Eibach

wats the difference between option 1 and 3 on your poll?

If I didn't have my King Springs + GR2's, I'd have gotten a set of Eibachs - but they were out of production and I got the Kings for a great price. I'm probably one of a very small group that run these springs here in the states.

Yeah.. don't think i've heard of many people running kings. I just love these springs so much.. i had to ask! Since its impossible to get them now, and I really still love mine. I think they have somewhere around 180k on them now. Something like that. 130k when i bought em.. and i've put quite a bit on em. They still ride great though!

Difference between #1 and #3, is basically 1 is a yes, and 3 is a HELL YES.. if only they made them ;)

Anyone who has ever run these will most certainly be in the HELL YES category. I know I am and I'm just running them with gr2's

i def. wish they still made them... i've been running the whiteline flatouts (i think there isnt many running these either) and like them but the ride can be harsh at times... if i have some extra money, i might buy a set of H&R springs, but when the cars already lowered, its hard for me to justify it..lol

Its too bad whitelines are such a hassle to get a hold of. When is the ride harsh with them? I'm wicked impressed with the performance of the eibachs. I still HAVE NOT found anything as nice as them for daily driving. and to top it off, THEY ARE LOWERED. Its crazy. Mine have so many miles on them, and I can still go hard over junked roads and not feel a thing! I really wish eibach would make them again..

Does anyone have eibachs running on the bilsteins?

BUMP for more votes!

the ride is harsh over decent sized bumps. however im sure the fact that most of my other suspenion parts are old and prob. need replaced. I love the stance they give my car, but from the few people i've talked to that ran them, they say pretty much the same thing. i'll prob. buy more comfy seats before i replace the springs. haha

Group buy on eibachs anyone? Hah.

I want to get some new eibach springs.. mine are getting worn. Really sucks since I basically have no options for decent suspension for this car. I have bilsteins, but who knows if I'll ever get them rebuilt.. and the GTB springs suck.

I'd go for a group buy. Otherwise it would be H&R

Give me the Bilsteins then. You're just wasting them.

I'll sell them to you. Technically only 1 of them needs to be rebuilt. I just don't know if i can justify rebuilding them.. because then what? I have to run those crap GTB springs which are soft as all hell compared to the eibachs. If i ran the eibachs on the bilsteins... what would it do? Probably wouldn't even work right?

I wonder how hard it would be to sell 20 sets of eibachs throughout here / other suby forums online? This is assuming they could even be made (fantasy).

Why would you run the GTB springs if you have the Eibachs and the rebuilt Bilsteins? You have some of the best "stock" dampers available for this generation of car and you won't bother rebuilding them. If I was close by I'd smack you.

If you could get Eibach to make a custom batch, I bet you'd sell 20 sets, but it would take you a few months to generate interest and have them shipped out.

yeah.. I was contemplating the idea of having eibach make a custom run. But I dunno if it would be worth the risk or not. They probably WOULD sell however.

And yeah. i'm gonna have the struts rebuilt.. at SOME point. I just need about $100/each with shipping to cali, etc.. pretty fuckin expensive for struts IMO. Can you run them with the eibachs? If so.. I might just do it. Then run the Eibach / Bilstein setup. However, I wonder if the bilsteins would hold the car even higher because they are made for a wagon.. and the eibach springs would be too short for the spring perch? I dunno.. confusing combo it sounds like.

I want springs that are stiffer than OEM, but won't lower my Outback. I do a lot of romping around the mountains and I enjoy the extra clearance.

Yeah I just want to get rid of ym wheel gap but I don't want to lose clearence so thats why I am going to go with 17's

Oh yes i would love some Eibach springs if they made them. and the bilsteins i would think would be awsome. but realistically i think i will have to go with the H&R's + KYB. i like your thread it one of the few dream things/part i could wish for to come back out. my other wish is for the Cobb intake" taps heals together and waves magic wand"

haha right. Guess were gonna have to settle for no-name intakes and other springs. You know whats funny. I bought bilsteins + gtb for extra clearance as well.. but really, I think a new set of eibachs would be perfect. My car is not TOO low, and its decent for daily driving. I cant like climb over logs or anything, but the roads here arent good, and in winter its not like they are good at all and the eibach's do damn fine. Thats kind of why I wish I had a new set.. they would sit a bit higher. These springs still FEEL awesome tho!
