I've recently been in a car accident causing front end damage to my 2002 legacy L sedan
Also I've been talking to AIRGNE about the outback bumper he put on his however that was an idea I was thinking of doing myself but he mentioned it wouldn't be a direct swap. It can be done but it will end up costing me more than I can afford....
So here,s what I'm thinking...any bumper that would look better than what's on my L? I like the 2003 gt bumper and how the fogs look...anyone reccomend something else that would be a DIRECT fit not causing me to change the cushion bar upfront or anything it additional....anything will help thanks

I'm all for the 03-04 bumper with the projector fogs... That's my plan anyways as well.

I my self was looking at either a sigma/prodigy style front bumper. they list by either name depending on what site you look at.
Where you getting money for your front bumber like insurance claim or is it out of your pocket?
Also i am not sure if there are any fitment issues as they are after market.

The insurance company will pay for all the damage, however they will only pay the retail price of what is currently on it...so if I want a diff bumper I will subtract the cost of the original bumper and whatever the difference is I will then pay....the outbakc bumper is only 12dollar difference for me to pay but if I have to replace the cushioning system on my front end for it to work it may bump it up to around 350-450...and I like the bumper above but I don't want that racer/spaceship look

So apparently whether I choose an outback bumper, 03 gt bumper, or 04 gt bumper...it would require significant changes to the front end in general to fit correctly to manufacture specs....and although I woukd really like the look its not worth the extra $$$$
