Makes a noise whenever I turn in first gear and only first gear.

Describe the noise more accurately - most cars make noises in 1st gear and when turning...

well it sounds like a card in the spokes of a bike. but it actually might be my cv joint because there is a little bit of play in the axel. but the boots are fine? could it be the cv joint?

Could also just be a fender liner or something rubbing - turn your steering wheel all the way to the left/right and go out for a visual inspection.

I dunno...

Did you check:

Ball joints for play?

Tie Rods (inner and outter) for play?

Wheel Bearings??? sometimes things find there way into the cog area.

Wheel bearing.

On my car.. these are the sounds various parts have made when crying for mercy:

Wheel bearing : Scraping or squeaking / squealing sound. Made the noise while going straight, as well as got louder when turning.

Axle: Made a clicking sound while lightly accelerating into a turn. Would not make the noise when going straight.

definently not wheel bearing or else it would always be making the noise. Ball joints are all good no play. Im actually really sure its the cv joint because there is about 1/8 in play when I move the shaft other side doesnt have that much. so I think it pops out a little when turning and clicks im going to replace it the week or next.

Actually depending on how bad your wheel bearing is, you might only hear it when you're turning. That's how mine was.

If it is a low pitch clicking you may have bad axles. Are you able to make a short video?

hmm maybe, it sounds like when you stick a card in the spoke of your bike for about one to two seconds while turning.

When I got my first Legacy I fought with them for weeks about bad axles. They told me that's how subarus sound lol. After making a scene I ended up with 2 front axles. I would check into it, don't replace them unless you are sure though.

That thing probably has 0 front axles unless they also did an AWD/FWD conversion.
