Borla or magnaflow??

I know exhaust has been covered a lot, and I have read a bunch of threads about it. I'm looking to do an exhaust setup; I will probably be buying the muffler and headers. Leaving stock cats so that it doesn’t get crazy loud, and having a shop weld it all up with 2.25 tubing (2.5 too bigg???) I'm looking for a rumbly low sound of the boxer. Not a ricer sound. From all I have read it looks like it comes down to borla or magnaflow for the muffler. I've read they're mostly the same design, but borla is pricier. Do I get what I pay for, or do I pay for the name of borla?? Also for headers I've looked on the borla website, no headers are listed for a 01 outback, but there is one for a leggy. That would work correct? Should I get the borla UEL header or a cheaper one like speedyracer?

I have a Borla Pro-XS muffler, 2005 wrx midpipe/resonator, and wrapped Borla Headers. Its pretty deep overall.

that sounds good! did you do the leggy headers? where'd you get the wrap?

that sounds good! did you do the leggy headers? where'd you get the wrap?

The wrap can be found basically anywhere, You need a 50 foot, 2" wide roll to get the job done.
