Subaru Spotter

Ok so i am wondering which area has the most Subarus by numbers. I find myself counting Subarus as I am out and today I did a 30 mile trip and counted 19 subarus, mostly legacies 1 first gen 6 2nd gens 7 3rd gens 3 4th gens and 2 bug eye Imprezas. Mind you most of this was all on back roads with very little traffic.

If anything it will keep you from getting bored.

i estimate that half or greater of the cars in my area are subarus :grin: mostly legs, and foresters, some prezes, and a few justys, no svx's i have seen yet and a tribeca here and there. at any given moment you can see 3 wherever u turn ur head :smt007 :smt007

my cousin lived in Breck, CO for a winter and when I went to visit him it was crazy how many subaru's were there. I swear everyone had either an audi or a subaru.

the most commonly registered car in the columbia river gorge is Subaru, that says something.

Here in Houston I see alot of subarus, shoot even my gf's parents both drive subarus but
the only funny part is that I barely if ever see legacy's but besides that I'm always seeing BD wagons, foresters, outbacks, STI's and WRX's, oh I've never seen any SVX's though.

I noticed there are TONS of Subarus when spent a week around the Henderson area in New Zealand. Generally a few every block, mostly JDM too...

The Front Range of Colorado is the Subaru Mecca of the USA, at least for the Outback and WRX.

Yeah it's mostly legacies here, a lot of outbacks. there are some Imprezas but not many. we do have some nice 1st gen impreza's around here. also 3 or 4 really nice Bajas.

I think there would be a lot more if it wasn't for the GM plant down the road

Anywhere there is snow, there will probably be a lot of Subarus (not that many AWD car choices out there)

There aren't a ton of Subarus around here. Most the ones I see are Outbacks of various gens and WRXs. But 3 hours to the east in Bend (closer to the mountains, and higher elevation) they are EVERYWHERE. There's even a Subaru specialty shop over there (All Wheels Driven) which is odd considering that Bend isn't a big town.

lol subi specialty shops pop up and stick around where ever they are, since subarus are special need a certain kind of mechanic, a tech who has some common sense and doesn't write off a car with 250k miles (it is a subaru after all, lol) im surprised where i'm at there's NOT one. seems like it would be pretty straight foward, but there is one in a neighboring town, so no biggie i guess lol

I tried counting them at the local shopping centre the other day, lost count past 40 something.

The majority was 2nd and 3rd gen's, with lots of 4th's

I was visiting family - our hotel was in Henderson but I rented a van and we just took day trips out to see the tourist sites. I was actually amused by the west Auckland culture - we don't get Skylines here in the States and I loved the Maloos and things rolling around. We were only there for a week - next time I'll send you a message when I head that way!

I agree with anothernord. Colorado has the most I think. Heuberger Subaru here in the springs does the most sales by far of any dealer in the country generally and GO Subaru in Denver does quite a few as well and also Flatirons Subaru in Boulder has a high sales number. Everyone and there brother has one it seems. There are 39 houses on my block and nearly half have at least one Subaru parked in the driveway
