This is my money pit :smt023 88 Jeep Cherokee...replaced/upgraded pretty much every part but the basics are 4.0L I6/aw4 auto, 5" ish lift, adjustable upper and lower control arms, 4.56 gears, ARB air locker in the rear, a/c compressor converted to onboard air, and 32" Maxxis Bighorn tires. I actually got the Legacy as a daily driver so I could thrash this thing more.

sweet jeep. I just picked up a pair of 90' XJ's that I'll be building into one. 4.5" Rusty's lift, 33x12.5's, IRO steering. Haven't decided what I'm going to do with axles, so stock gearing for now.

Nice XJ man! I used to have a second gen Classic (box-stock) myself. Besides it being an auto, I loved it and plan on getting another one to play with the Outback.
