Most of the ones in that meet, are from sl-i and still frequent here but dont post as much. the majority are either on here, or on rs25.com.

yeah myself and my brothers are going, we went to the last one. The same group goes up for the rallies (a couple are from wellsboro so they have secret areas/ really cool vantage points). Not to mention the def. know their subarus... they've built some sweet ones and are always willing to help.

So I found out dynos are hard to book unless way in advance around here. I will try some more. I think that we should just have a meet/cookout the first time. I dont mind cold weather, but we need to get something together soon. I know of some parks out here that are good for meets, but would like to make it more halfway for other tri-staters. Throw out some ideas.

Still like the idea of a Legacy meet in Eastern PA. I don't know if I'll be able to make the central dirtyImpreza meet (but much love to my central PA people out there!).

Hmmmm. I do think we should do something. We're running out of time for this year. What are you thinking - November? December? Should we try to combine this with the whole East Coast wagon meet thread, or just have a get-together for Subaru Legacy (+ Subaru any-other-vehicle) enthusiasts in Eastern PA?

Some progress... there is talk about a travel/safety theme. Hopefully we will be able to bring some fan/forum presence in. I also have ideas to hopefully contact/involve local tuner shops to see what they would think about an event like this. Of course, it's one step at a time for now... but definitely keeping you guys in the loop.

Welsh Subaru in Limerick PA is having a "safety day" on Saturday, November 20 (I believe all day). I was trying to cook up a meet situation with them but it doesn't look like anything will happen until at least spring.

If anyone has any better ideas at this point, I'll be glad to pass the baton. Otherwise, the only other option would be meeting up at, like, an Applebee's/Sonic-type place sometime between now and December.

Oh, and by the way, if anyone's interested, I found out about a Toys For Tots meet in Montgomeryville PA. Here's a link:

Okay, so I have good news and bad news.

The BAD NEWS:
The event had to be rescheduled. I got confirmation this morning.

The GOOD NEWS:
The new event date is Saturday, August 13th. I hear they might be able to get a Subaru race car and driver for that date as well.

Apologies for the change up, but it looks like this date is FIRM. Once they work out the details left over, the event will be promoted!

Welsh Subaru is also going to be featured at the First Friday in Phoenixville on August 5th, and might be advertising for the event there.

If you guys are thinking about hanging out 1 to 2 hours before the actual meet starts at 5:30pm, there are a few places I could think of:

1. Buster's Ice Cream - a little ice cream parlor about 3/8 of a mile down from the dealership, by Turtle Creek Golf Course
2. Sonic - less than a quarter mile down the road the other way from the dealership
3. The mall at the intersection of Route 29 South and Arcola Road (the promenade doesn't have any stores open yet, so there are plenty of places to park outside the regular stores)

4. Limerick Community Park - big area with some parking availability

Any of those sound good? Let me know if you need directions to any place.
