Are these header compatible with the 2.5? They are listed for a 2.5rs and as far as I know they would be fine. But I'm new at this and thought I'd ask to be sure.

Thanks

Looks like them be it! Any header listed for Impreza 2.5 will fit the Leggy 2.5

i have those on my car, they fit up fine but you cant use the o2 sensor hole on the pipe, the sensor will hit the transmission, i had a exhaust shop fab a hole for me and plug that one, overall the sound and performance is great, i personally like it. It does get rid of some of the boxer rumble though but you still hear it at low RPMs

Thanks guys! I'm still trying to find out what I want to do with my exhaust. I'd like the performance of these, but I also don't want to lose that rumble. We'll see what happens.

Do you feel any hp gains with them.

thanks, the sound quality on the clip is kinda poor but thats basically how they sound

I did yes, I originally ran borla headers w/2.5" piping to a magnaflow cat and magnaflow super 40 Exhaust, when I swapped over to my current setup I got back some lost back pressure and noticed my torque and hp go up slightly, specially on the higher rpms

Those are the exact headers I have on my car. I didn't have any issues with the O2 sensor with my original 4EAT or when I swapped in the 5MT.

My only complaint was that the wall thickness of the tubing combined with the LONG tubes lead to a lot of the "sewing machine" noise. Wrapping them helped a lot. It also completely eliminates the cats and doesn't give you the option of running any factory cats. I had a HF cat welded back in.
