It has all of the inlets for the PCV & Exhaust tubes, and it looks like it fits all the way up to the airbox too!

Anyone looking to get the ebay intake should get one of these and test for fitament. If and when I get any more money, I will be getting one of these :)

I'm tempted to click the buy it now button... I've got money in my pay pal account to cover it even. Sucks that shipping is more than the "buy it now" cost. >_<

Hmmm... $36 and no guarantee you won't need more things. I bet its an outdated picture and you'd get the other typical ebay intake anyhow, but definately available for anyone to try. I bought my other one for $15 and $10 shipping.

um, I would say from my ebay browsing that this is newer, I've seen the other style a lot less.

Did yours come with a filter, Dan? That's why I think its a little higher.

No filter. But most included filters are jokes. I wouldn't trust them no matter what they look like. Of course... this is coming from someone who runs an oiled K&N...

yeah, I was just looking at running this to the filter box.

I just put in my "old style" eBay Intake today. It wasn't hard to drill out the hole for the extra vacuum fitting. For now, I am using the stock airbox. I need to get a filter adapter so I can run my cone filter.

how did you secure the fitting?

Gil, I did it just like this:

u will need to drill a 1/2" hole in the middle of the coupler. Use small drill bits leading up to the 1/2" bit. The rubber is strange to work (it molds itself around the bit, make sure to work the bit in and out until you can get a round hole.

Next insert the elbow so that the threaded end is out. Make sure it fits snug, and does not protrude too deeply into the tubing itself. (you can remove this now for an easier install later)

oh cool. that is exactly how I did it.

I had contributed to a tread (with pics) on NASIOC, but the pic host took a dive.

here's the tread:

shouldn't you buy it first and try it before saying it's better? :P

i'm happy with the "old" style ebay intake i picked up. it's cheap and effective.

the only difference i see is that this new version has 3 of those inlets instead of 2 on the older one.

yeah, that's why- it's plug and play. I like clean installs :)

your clean install is still missing a second coupler to attach the intake to the maf... ;-)

meh, I can get one of those anywhere. The IAC piping is a bit more important and a bit harder to do.

then why not buy the "old" ebay intake... the only difference is the extra port (really not that hard to drill out the new coupler you buy... takes a whole 5 mins at most) and the filter that you don't plan on using... :P

because the old intake doesn't stretch all the way to the airbox, and I'd rather not have to put a piece of rubber like that on there...it probably causes a lot of turbulence. and extra 5 bucks isn't going to bother me.

And prices on ebay never stay consistent, they always go up and down on a cycle, so I'll be able to get it for lower soon, I'm sure :)

that piece of rubber is the second coupler you'll need to pick up for either intake... it's really not far enough off to "create turbulence"

just my .02 mark... do what you'd like.

I was under the impression that it wasn't even close...oh well. I'm not jumping on anything right away.
