Does anyone know if the centre section for an impreza will fit a bg5 gtb wagon. I have been assured by the guy selling it to me that it will but just thought it's better to be safe than sorry.

Based on your language, I'm guessing you're from the UK?

The best way to tell, unfortunately is to slide the part up under the car and hold it there to see if it will fit. In the US, the exhaust sections are relatively interchangeable, with the caveat that the Legacy is a few inches longer in the midpipe than the same-year Impreza.

I've found the same with JDM, i'm actually running a WRX exhaust on my car (cept the end pipe).

If you don't have any emissions laws to pass, i'd recommend just leaving it out, and getting a bit of pipe put in there instead.

You guessed it, i'm a limey

The problem is that I'm buying it off ebay so no way to test fit

We have pretty strict emision laws :smt010 so the pipe is a no go. Would love to do that though. Bet you'd get an amazing exhaust note.
