Hood Wont Open

so after my guardrail shindig, im trying to open my hood, handle inside works, it doesnt 'pop' open but i feel it release

then the lever works too but it wont open, it moves up about a half inch and wont go any further..

Since you front end is banged up just rip off the grill and unbolt the latch. It is only 3 bolts holding it in there.

i had the light bar where the grille was, i uncurled the front with my manly hands and reefed on it til it opened..
