View Full Version : Hmmmm... 05-07 Impreza Steering wheel into 00-04 Legacy

So i drove a 06 Impreza the other day and seriously have to have there Steering Wheel. They have the cruise control same location but not sure on the wiring if its plug and play and also not sure if the teeth/threads are the same on the steering to bolt it down. I think i might just have to waste $100 and try this mod unless anyone can speak up for this mod already!

Hmmmm, good question. I'd just go ahead and try it, nothing like trial and error ;) I looked at some pics of the said steering wheel w/ airbag removed, definitely looks different, but that doesn't mean it won't fit.

If the splines fit and the Srs airbag plug fits, good to go.

Well found the airbag plug... Its actually the same 2 pin as my Outback so that part will work without a dout, its the cruise that am worried about and spindle. Hmmm guy local has one for $75 i might buy it!
