AMAZING! I've not been exposed to this much, but I did see a thread somewhere about this. Honestly, this is some of the most attractive photography of cars I've seen. For a first attempt, this is fantastic. Nicely done! Beautiful car by the way! Would you please post some information about your rig etc as well too?

Actually, I'd love more info about the location too - you've got quite the reflection of the car in the ground as well..

Thanks.

The rig is made up of several pieces, each and every one of them does a specific job. It took me months to buy the parts and piece it together. If you like, head over on photograpy-on-the.net There's a whole thread on this rig system.
And I took this shot at work in a detail shop. The floor was wet, hence the reflection off the car.

I wish I could zoom out more. I tried every possible positions with the poles and mounts to get the camera as far out as possible. I've only have a 17-40mm at the moment. Saving up for the 10-22mm lol

there are few of my shots of my clients' cars... hope these can give you an idea of how far 10-22 can do ;)

Yes. Awesome shots Terrence. The 10-22mm is super wide.

And by any chance are you shooting with a full frame camera?

i shot with my 7D so it's a crop body
10-22 only fits on crop anyway

I'm not a photographer, so how exactically does a rig shot work. I assume you attach the camera to the car with a "rig" but then do you photoshop it out?
Thoes pictures look awesome BTW I especially like yours 2.5GT. I kinda has an arcade feel, like something you would see in a Need for Speed advertisement :smt023

That's right, 10-22mm only works on crop bodies. Silly me.

And another question if you don't mind me asking. What's the highest aperture you normally have it at? I've did a few test shots with ranges from f8-f22. Sharpest in def. a factor. Of course the rig bounces, but even with the "sharpest" image i have, it's still blurry.

i normally keep it below F8...so it's from the range of F4-F7.1

Some sweet shots. That legacy RS just looks sick, is that shot in a tunnel?
