The day I got her. Already had a EJ20G swap in it. I paid 600 for it. The guy I bought it from couldnt get to start. I put a fuel pump and fuel filter in it and it fired right up.

I'd suggest front and rear strut braces, I had a pair of eBay ones on my old BC and they really helped when pretensioned (look for the straight bar design so they can be twisted to pretension). I did have to bang out my hood a bit to fit the front one, and cut a tiny bit of the trunk cage to fit the rear, be warned.

Car isn't street ready until tomorrow, so the battery is brand new and the hold down for it is on the bench in my shop. Strut bars could definitely be next

looks nice man, makes me miss my 92. You should most def save up for wrx interior ( front rear seats, momo steering wheel, wrx short shifter w/ boot and knob) and you be leegit. Also, paint the grille flat black, gives you that meean aggressive look. Looks nice bro, good work

Thanks man. I'm definitely doing the grill black and I have a set of eurolit3 halo fogs to go on there too. My seats are pretty comfy and nice so if I find some STi seats cheap enough, then I will put them in.

This is the stock mounting plate that held the plastic in. I used it to mount my lights.

I mounted the lights using the holes in the middle, now there was only one screw that would hold this on and it was floppy. SOOOO.... I took 2 5mm nuts and threaded them onto the 2 plastic nubs at the top of the fog hole. If anyone else does this dont tighten them down to hard or they will strip out.

The grill looks sweet too. This process took 2 hours inclulding all the wiring.
The light are neat, they have a Blue halo ring on the outside that I hooked up to the turn signals. The halo flashes too when I make a turn. Of course I used a relay and fusable link also.

• A bucket/pot to hold luke warm water with very little liquid soap
• terry cloth towel, or buffer to make life easier
• Mothers Mag & Aluminum Polish (Meguiars PlastX doesn't work as well)
• 600/1000/2000 fine grit wet sand paper
• applicator pad or a semi-soft coarse sponge

I bought the 20 dollar 3M headlight rest. kit at napa today. The kit was easy to use and simple. It attached to my drill. My lights were nasty yellow before this too. finally took pics of the new exhaust.

Car is looking good. I just picked up at 92 SS earlier this week. Looking around for some simple mods.

Thats what i have is some simple stuff. (minus the swap) Is yours a 22 turbo? if so get a manual boost control and 07 STi exhaust and thats a cheap mod. STil exhaust runs around 50-60 bucks and a good boost control is 90. I like my 00-01 RS wheels because I can upgrade the calipers. Theres a shop here in central oregon that have version 2 STi engine for 1600 complete if you wanna go that way too/

There's a guy on Nasioc who tunes these cars (rob or robtune) - you'll need his ignition conversion board, and an EJ20g WRX or STI ecu. He programs an ad-in chip according to what your mods are. It's the cheapest way to get good power out of them, safely.

Built the moon JDM B17 with a JDM b16 cable tranny, LSD, skunk 2 intake. 66 trim snail on a custom stainless exhaust, small 4 core radiator, too much crap to list. And made custom traction bars for the front can see it in the engine bay pic.
