99 legacy transmission mount - replacement options?

Hey, I"ve just recently found this site, and I read one thread about STI Group N mounts working on legacy's. I'm looking to replace the transmission mount along with some other goodies I already have on the way. What year span do I need to look for to fit 99 legacy GT 2.5 5MT? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Local Subaru dealership told me I was out of luck.

Any 5MT subaru can use the Group N (engine mounts, tranny mount, pitchstop/dog bone)

yea, there is only 2 options for the Group N mount, 5 speed or 6 speed. just get the 5 speed one and you are golden.

don't over torque the mount bolts though or you'll have an expensive paperweight :(

very true, i hand tighten them and felt like a did them to much but everything is very nice and solid. Also shifting in 1-3 gears are much better 4 and 5 are not much different. Overall a great upgrade
