There's two sets of connectors, black and green. Depending on which codes you want to pull you hook them up, seperately. They are located under your dash near the steering column. Connect the black ones with the car off, put your key in 'ON' and the CEL should flash. Long blink = 10, short blink = 1 and there's a long pause between codes. The black connectors are used to pull stored codes.
To run an active diagnostics, disconnect black connectors, plug in green ones with the car turned off. Turn the ignition to 'ON' and push the gas pedal to the floor, hold it there for a few seconds, release half way, hold for 5 seconds, and release. Start the car and drive for at least 1 minute above 15 mph, the CEL will start to blink and give you the active codes.
Unplug connectors when finished.
