215/45-17 On a 96 Legacy L

I found some OEM 07 WRX 17's and was wondering if they will go onto the 96 Legacy with no problem.

Car has 04 WRX (not STI) Struts/Springs

Well the guy flaked out and said someone is gonna buy them for 400? Doesn't seem right to me. So I will be getting 16's WRX Rims tomorrow with the RE92's (which in a little over a month with have conti DWS's on them).
