Welcome to the board. Is it a 5 speed? Automatic??

Some more info would make it easier, but off the top of my head:

#1- Get up to date on maintenance

#2- Intake/Header/Exhaust

#3- Brakes

#4- Suspension

#5 Wheels and some sticky stuff.

Did you get any history of service with the car? I.E. Headgasket service (tho not that bad on 2k and above) etc...??)

What are your goals for the car? Street Driven? Weekend AutoCross? Track Monster???

Start a Members Ride1 Thread with pics, as it would give us an idea for some more suggestions too.

Search the for Sale forums (See Reuben and YamazakiSubaru for some JDM goodies), and meet some others in your area. BTW, where are you from?

And stick around, things pop up here every now and again.

I from North Platte, NE, there is really no tuner's here. its a little town in the middle of no where. And what is a members ride1?

Its a section here that you post up pictures of your Legacy and use it as your build thread. Members Rides 2 is for other cars that YOU own, that are NOT a Legacy.

Search around, and read up. Search bar is hidden in the top right corner of your screen. :smt023

+ a billion.

With used cars, my phylosophy has always been that if I don't know when something was last serviced or replaced, it needs to be inspected or replaced. Spark plugs and wires, timing belt, water pump, fuel filter, air filter, pcv valve, brakes, tires, struts, etc... just a few things off the top of my head. You have to have a good basis to start with before you modify anything.

Well I bought it from my buddy who works at a dealership, he kept all the service upto date. I just need to put a new clutch in it is all but other than that everthing is good.

4 - #4
5 - #2
