View Full Version : 01 Subaru RS front bumper to my 98 Subaru Legacy GT

Hello so im pretty new to nodding and stuff. anyways i absolutely love the look on the Subaru RS i love the hood, bumper, and side skirts. I would have bought an RS over the Legacy but quite simply there to hard to find and a 2door love the 99 - 01 model rs's. Is there anyway i can fit the RS bumper and hood on my legacy GT? also were can i find online that sells the bumper/hood?

The bumper has been made to fit in the past with minimal modification and there is a thead on here showing pictures of it if you search. The hood will not fit, however people have custom fit the vents into the Legacy hood before and added a larger scoop as well.

My co-worker has one on her car. To tell you the truth, it looks like crap. Makes the front look small.

Merc1980 wow really? you think you can take a picture of your co-workers car and post here? i'd like to see it! yea that would be a total bummer if i get the bumper and it looks like crap thanks!

Dont think that hood will fit with no problem.

That owner also swapped the fenders as well, and found the work to get it all to tie up was overwhelming and a bit too much.

OP: The bumper can be done with some tweaking and cutting, but the hood is not wide enough. Buy the vents and use your hood.

wow thanks you guys for the pictures well the rs bumper looks so cool on the rs! i guess with the gt it just looks outta placed lol

do you guys know of any other options of front bumpers that look sweet on the gt? ive seen some on a previous thread about aftermarket bumpers but just wondering if there was some that showed other subaru models like for example anyone do an sti front bumper on the 98 GT? etc.

whats sick in you're opinion??
