View Full Version : Clear blinkers on 01 LTD?

Is the orange plastic a reflector like the headlight one is? I've done the clear headlight mod and am wondering if it is possible on the rear too. If not is there a source for JDM tails somewhere?

no, you cant clear them. Yes, you can get JDM tails, but theyre very rare. Ebay, or JDM specialty stores (check out the links forum of the SLI misc section)

Euro would fit right? My girlfriend lives in norway and she could probably get me some there, maybe even from a junkyark or something. That'd be cheaper since she would just bring them here on a trip.

I wouldnt know, but euro style tails will fit my model year, so I dont see why theyd change it for the BE/BH years

They'd fit, just make sure you get some wires just in case the harness is different.

Nice thing about the BC's; can clear out the tails by just pulling the amber inserts.

wiring should be identical... assuming becuase the JDM ones are the same as my USDM.. the lens were plug and play for my car...

no. The actual lens is amber.

Get some euro tails or some JDM ones. Be careful to get a three peice set if they are tinted (B4 tails), otherwise you just need the corners :wink:

BTW, here are my B4 tails if you want to see what I mean by tinted.

Quick question: remember that link you gave me to Ozeparts? They sell the non-tinted tails, right?

Did you see the link i sent you for the B4 tails that were on Ebay a few weeks back? Should have jumped on those. Anyone know who got 'em? (sorry for the OT :oops: )

Yeah, I tried to get in on that - I placed a bid, got outbid, then was emailed a notice that said the auction was ended early. So, still trying to snag a pair of these.
