I currently have Rota G-Force 17x8 5x100 with Goodyear Eagle F1 225/45/17 and they make a terrible noise and vibration when I am around 15 to 20 MPH. Every speed above and below is fine. They have been rotated every other oil change like clockwork so I have no idea why this is happening. They have been balanced at every rotation and still the noise persists. Any thoughts?

You sure its not the rotors or possibly a wheel bearing?

Does it sounds like "wooka wooka wooka wooka" ?

If it is the rotors which are fairly new what can be done? It does make the noise you described I have even changed the pressure to see if it made a difference and some times it seemed like it did but then it went back to he same noise so I am at a loss on what to do

I think you're over reacting. You have probably discovered a resonant frequency with the tires. You could try having the tires actually rotated on the rim. Some tires have a sweet spot where you're supposed to put the weight opposite the heaviest side of the tire. Its usually marked by a red dot on the tire

But a vibration is no good - is it actually shaking your steering wheel?

It's not shaking the steering wheel but it is still a concern. This isn't normal tire noise.

+1 ^^

My Sumitomos did the same thing around 30 mph, also at around 62 mph. I chalked it up to a harmonic frequency. Wait til you wear them down a little and the will be loud all of the time

If it isn't vibrating enough to feel it in the steering wheel it isn't wearing out any of your car parts.

So I took my legacy to a shop because I had a Oil leak and they think it might be the head gasket (of course) and while it was there I had them look at the tires and see what the noise might be. They told me that the tires are cupping on the inside and not wearing correctly. They thought it might be my suspension set up possibly the struts. They also did a alignment and printed out a before and after of my problem. They said there isn't much that can be done to cure the noise save for buying new tires but I fear that the same problem will happen again. I know others have the same set up as I do HR springs with KYG shocks and struts. Have any of you had the same issues? is there anything I can do about the camber issue?

The toe on the left front was way off, that would cause tire wear and potentially a noise.

The negative camber is fine, I run just about the same amount on my car and I haven't noticed any excessive tire wear from it. The car will actually handle better with some negative camber. If you want to fix the negative camber, get a full set of camber bolts. I got some for the rear of my car so I could actually dial in a little more negative camber, I think it was like $20 for a set (1 set takes care of 2 struts)

Can we get info on the camber bolts. Where did you buy them from?
