No more WRX muffler, Whats a suggestion...

Alright i got pulled for the second time because of my exhaust. Whats an AFFORDABLE exhaust that has a nice rumble after some UEL's but not very loud and has a factory look to it.

Yep. It is the Nazi state. So annoying. And as he was heading back a mustang blew by with a loud exhaust slammed on brakes. and the officer didnt even flinch.

If you werent loud enough... Go louder then! Gezzzz hard to figure you got pulled over with the WRX exhaust that is pretty much OEM looking. Okay here is what you need to do for your factory legacy exhaust... If you get pulled over again, take a picture right then and there where the officer has pulled you over with your camera phone and go to court to fight it! Its OEM Right? Remeber this mod is done to the very top section of the muffler hidden out of sight so it shouldn't ever been seen but some people even coat their muffler a flat black.

and here I was thinking it was a stock wrx exhaust...no wonder you got pulled over. Those tilted fartcans for wrx's are loud enough on those cars and there's a lot of sound suppression from the turbo as it is.

Get a STOCK muffler from a wrx or sti. Done.

When I put my muffler on I'm definitely recessing it so that cops dont have a visual reason to pull me over lol

States are getting stricter with these stupid exhaust laws too. I've read some people getting pulled over in WI for their stock STI exhausts just because of the shiny 4" tip...never mind that they are way below the 95db noise limit that most states use (hell most cops don't even carry a db meter, let alone know how to use one properly). That's why I have a turndown 3" system now.

But anyway, the stock turbo exhausts will flow plenty for an n/a car, just stick with those. You can get used catbacks all the time for $50.

Go for dual tip exhaust. It looks so clean and adds a nice sport look to the ass of the car. Those oversized mufflers are asking for trouble!
