these pictures are with the OB struts and springs. so 15 inch wheels leave a lot of room in the wells. I got a good deal on 195 yokohamas so ill run those until they die, then put some taller tires on. I need to fab a roof basket. Thanks guys :D

It's all good with the gap in the wheel wells. Not sure if it's just a phase or what but I love that look, not with TINY wheels tho. Normal sized wheels with some gap is good if you ever do any decent offroading  or have a crappy state road system...
Also agree with the roof rack too.

So I planned to take the timing belt off the other day, and a mechanic was going to guide me through the process. His last car was a 2000 impreza OB. After dissasembling everything needed to change the timing belt and putting the new belt/tensioners/pulleys on per his directive the motor wouldn't fire. So i took it off and put it back on 4 times. After it would not turn over after the last time I decided to line up the mark on the crankshaft sprocket near the rear, not the one on the very front. It turned over right away. BUT, it sounded like crud. One compression test later = two flat cylinders. So now I'm getting a free engine overhaul to correct the error. Annoyed, but I will have a cherry motor when it returns.

In the process of rebuilding my heads. Got quite a few mods in while my car is down. Supertones are in, fabbing a bracket to mount them behind the grille. Got a set of DDM HIDS. The material for a skid plate. Painted my intake manifold and other things that look good painted under the hood. Painting the calipers gold. Going to make my own UELs (hopefully as long as I'm able to use a friends shop) Got projector fog lights to be mounted.
