Was driving this evening and noticed this for the first time, seems to have started tonight. My speedo needle will start "bouncing" I'll be at 60 Kph let's say and the needle would start moving erratically going down to 0 then bouncing back to 40 then to 60 then going back to normal. It's not consistent but still seems to happen frequently enough. My car was recently swapped from auto to manual and I have a 5 speed BFM, been driving it for at least a month before this started happening. Just wondering if anyone has even seen something like this happen and what the cause could be. Doesn't seem to affect my cars performance, still get lots of boost.
Thanks

I dont have a solution for you but I will say that recently my speedo has stayed at zero for a few blocks or even a few miles when I first start driving. My problem isn't consistent either.

Interesting, At first it seemed to move around erratically when at a constant speed but then noticed it would bounce around even during acceleration. Very weird, and irritating :)

Your speed sensor could be going bad. That is the only thing I can think of if the cluster was never taken apart.

Take your cluster out and see if any of the plugs have come out or are getting pinched. If that's not it, then its probably either the connection to the speed sensor, or the sensor itself.

Yep, speed sensor. Your boost etc is based on your rpms, and gear. Not your actual speed. Should be an easy fix!
