Vacuum hose help- 2.2 in 98 Outback

Hey guys, I just finished my EJ22 swap into my 98 Outback. Everything went in smooth as silk, with just a few little annoyances. The A/C bracket had to be changed (easy).

I need a little insight into a few of the vacuum hoses however. The 2.5 TB has 2 vacuum ports on top that face the driver side. Where should those connect?

Also, there are 2 vacuum ports exiting from under the manifold, to the side of the PS pump (2 different sizes). Where do these go?

Any help would be very appreciated. She is almost back on the road!!!

With all the people who have done a 2.5 to 2.2 swap around here, I thought this would be an easy one for you guys!!!

The two vacuum hoses should go to the charcoal canister that came on the donor-motor's car. As far as the other two (on top of the TB), I think I remember those going to the bracket holding the throttle cable, and from there they go to the EGR? Maybe a pic would help?

Only bought the motor. No canister. Might have one laying around from an RX7 or Miata though. I will try to get pics tonight.

You were correct on both counts. The two on the TB were supposed to go to the EGR (which I don't have), so they are capped. The other 2 go to a charcoal canister (which I also don't have) so they are capped as well.

I also had to redo a few other lines due to cracks. Now she runs perfect. Its amazing what a little crack in a little hose will do to your sanity. The line supplying the fuel pressure regulator had a crack, and when it would begin to leak, the car sounded like it was running on 2 cylinders. It would then trip the knock sensor, and the MAP sensor CEL's.

Then, it would go away. It was driving me nuts!!!!
