Hello everyone!

I'm new to the SLi boards and new to owning a Subaru. I just bought a 99 legacy limited with 269k on it.

It has a transmission seal leak and a rear passenger axle leak, my mechanic (he does not do trans work) said I could drive it for a year or two without issues but I don't feel comfortable with anything leaking on my car. Unfortunately I don't know how to fix these issues myself and hoping there is a cheap way to fix these problems.

I am planning on installing HID head and fog lights and maybe a cheapo paint job from maaco (all black, no more two tone)

Prob going to tint windows 20-30% black tint

The previous owner added 08 impreza 17" rims and 2010 forester brake rotors and calipers

I have been looking into parts and I think JDM stuff will be way too expensive for me

check out my pics (from my phone) more to come after a nice wash. http://photobucket.com/lev_99_legacy

I also want to make some improvements in engine / suspention on a super small budget. Any and all suggestions are welcome and appreciated (if anyone knows about shops or guys who do work on the side that are around the phila / bucks area that are good for little $$ please let me know)

Thank you all!

My tranny has been leaking for a long ass while, not much of a hassle :P

Budget suspension options would be to go with 02-07 wrx struts and lowering springs or 04 sti struts and 04 sti springs.
