I just checked it out... but I was bored within like 5 mins. Granted I was playing the free version, but to me it is like a hard to use paint. All you can do is draw pictures with blocks. I don't know what is different in the P2P one though.

I built a castle. I had a moat and everything but I had to "pipe in" the water from across the map which sucked. I guess the pay version i can place water and fire and the like. also the dynamite is disappointing as I couldn't get it to blow up

Minecraft free mode = really interesting sandbox. With the relaxing music in the background it's almost a way to relax and try out interesting things with the landscape. That is, until you accidentally rupture a lava line, or you accidentally rip open a hole in the sea floor while digging underground and proceed to fill up your intricate caves with water (digging fail). But hey, that's what the reset button's for...

The pay version is so worth it, it's half price right now 10 euros ($14.xx) and you get all future updates included.

Oh, and the zombies are fun too.

This is true, however I've had more fun with it than some $59.99 360 games.

ok so you gather items and using the items you gathered you build items to help you gather better so that in the end you can build ... build pretty much anything. its a 8 bit game but is super addicting. just search minecraft in youtube and you can find things ppl built or ppl walking thru things... its a very good game. its simple fun and lets you be creative. no map is the same it randomly generates the first time you go in and it randomly generates as you explore.
when you have different items you can put them together to make other times and so on. there is also a fun part about survival trying to avoid zombies or other things.
if you have free time on your hands its definatly a good game to have because it will keep you very entertained. and its only about 14 bucks... totally worth it

well i would but the owner of the server is VERY picky about who he lets in. he has only been letting close friends in because the hogwarts project has been taking him over a month so far if you watch the videos it usually tells how long they take. so he is paranoid about ppl greiving and being stupid on the server. but he is going to make the map available for tours when he is completed with the project ill give you the ip then

Soo what i did the past week on minecraft between work

It's a vault/workshop I made on the server. the workshop itself was the only natural place. everything else has been dug out.

dokus rpg alot of the new stuff isnt supported. but its great for underground. it hasent been updated since brik was introduced :/

damn, it looks sick underground tho. i use john smith and doku combination. there is probably a patch you can use to fix it. my buddys always talking about patching his game for different things. he actually has a unicorn in his game haha

I have the gerodoku (I think it's spelled) pack which is a combo or doku and some other stuff. What are some other good ones? I'll take some pictures or I guess I could do a video to give you guys the full effect of my house since I rebuilt it after I torched it. I then helped my girlfriend off the floor because she was laughing so hard.

What are you guys getting for framerates? I get 120ish with full distance zero fog then jumps to 230ish on the first fog.

I've just started messing with the cartss too, there's just so much you can do it's crazy.

You hold down F3 and it's near the top left of the screen, you'll see it change up and down. I'll try to find some a program to record the video.

If this isn't the one thing that makes me a super geek, then I don't know what does! Hey, how different is it from farmville and mafia wars and shit? Not very, and it's not telling ME when I can do this and that.

my buddy has opened his server but he is kinda bein picky about who he lets in and has to make ppl fill out an application. hes trying to block out greifers and thefts. try looking on the minecraft forums for something. i would think that would be the best bet
