I'm going to get some 205/55R16 snow tires continentals I think and then probably 215/45R17's in the summers in the spring.

Are the wheels that tire track sells good quality (strength, paint quality)? not like the BBS's of course they are but the cheaper ones?

I'm shooting for 6.5" but will those 205's work fine on a 7 inch rim? My offset questions are what would be the offset range I would need for the following rims, i'm ok with going a little more aggressive but I don't want to stress my wheel bearings.

16x6.5" and 16x7"

17x7" and 17x7.5"

According to http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthr ... =wheel+faq (http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=335263&highlight=wheel+faq)

Offset Nirvana is within a few millimeters of:

Width .... Offset

6.5" ....... +53 to +55
7.0" ....... +50 to +53
7.5" ....... +47 to +50
8.0" ....... +43 to +47

Anything within sighting distance of these ranges is happiness for your wheel bearings. I reserve the right to be corrected on the ranges, but they are about 95% accurate

205/55 is fine on 16x7" wheels, that's what I run.

Jey is correct.

I ran 02' WRX 16x6.5 @ 55mm w/ 205/55
I also ran 01' RS 16x7 @ 53mm w/ 205/55

No issues easy as can be..
