OK. Coming back from class today. I go to BK. C6 Z06 pulls in while im eating in my car. I throw him the horns and say "thats fuckin badass man" he thanks me, we begin to BS.

He talks about how he only got it a few days ago, etc. Then says, "Wanna take it for a spin?"

I said, "ahhh, uhhhh, uhhhh, uhhhh, FUCK YES"

He tells me as we are driving that he hasnt really driven a stick car much since his Impala in college, so feel free to open it up since he could see I knew what I was doing. We drove down a while, turned around, and at a light I lit it up. I hit 120 faster than I ever thought possible.

THAT CAR IS SO UNGODLY FAST I DIDNT KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH MYSELF. I have never driven anything that is even close to the same level. Oh my god. I am going to go shit in my pants now.

that's awsome... the nicest car I have driven was a '76 Stingray that had a bored 427 in it... massive amounts of hp. The whole car shook at idle because of the compression. THAT was a damn fast car. Didn't take it to 120 :P but definetly could have by the way it was pulling at 100 :shock:

Sounds like me when I took my STi for the test drive after handing over a $3000 deposit..... Or the time I got to ride in a Dodge Viper GTS that the guy had set up for racing. that was pretty fun too

This proves 2 things:

1. Sheepdog got a rare break in life known as "Driving someone else's SuperCar!"

2. This guy has wayyyy too much money as he gave a total stranger (no offense Sheep) the keys to his brand spakin' new Z06.

This car is the most technologically advanced street car that GM has produced. Ever. So intertwined with the C6-R, its resemblance is frighteningly striking.

Wow, reminds me of the time I got to drive this guys brand new Maserati Spyder Cambiocorsa, his son was friends with a kid I worked with, we got talking and he was telling me all the principles behind racing and torque curves, one day asked me if I wanted to take a spin in the thing, needless to say demonstrating the power and italian roar by clicking the F1 paddle shifter and dropping gear. We drove for a couple miles, then he pulls over at the beginning of this one road thats a full out straightaway for 2 miles in the backwoods of town, says "your turn", and gets out of the car. Before I knew it I was roaring down the road with it, he's telling me to drop gear at a certain RPM so I can hit the peak of the torque curve for the car in the lower gear and to gun it...I think I was 17 at the time, so this was absolute heaven. Next thing I know he says "how fast do you think your going..?" and I look down and see the needle screaming past 100. At the end of the road I pulled over to switch again, I don't think I've ever shook so hard in my life. Here's to once-in-a-lifetime experiences!
