4EAT Phase II to 4EAT Phase II VDC

Ok, in a local JY is an 01 OB H6 that IIRC should have the VDC, my question is would this transmission swap into my '99 Leg GT if i also swapped the TCU? or have they eliminated the TCU by this year model of car? just a thought.

Actually, looking at it now, it almost looks like all you would have to do is swap the output shaft from the transmission and the tail sections, then maybe the TCU?

There are additional (speed?) sensors on the 99+ 4EAT, so I'm not sure if that meshes with the TCU + ECU stuff.

Yes, my '99 GT has a Phase II transmission. from what I can tell I should be able to swap in a VTD transmission. if put the FWD fuse in and have 45/55 AWD. otherwise i would imagine the TCU would control the VTD MPT just like the standard one.
