Hey all,
Just recently picked up my 97 legacy GT wagon, and ive been going through it for the past few days and fixing some little stuff that was wrong. I noticed that i had terrible reception when I tried to listen to the radio, (come to find out my power antenna wasn't coming up) so I decided to take out the Panasonic head unit just to make sure the antenna was plugged into the back of the receiver. when I finally pulled it out, it indeed was not plugged in and also the yellow wire on the back of the harness, had come loose from the poor splice job the last guy did. In my attempt to reconnect the two yellow wires (one from the unit, thee other from the harness) the wire from the harness slipped out of my hand and grounded to a metal surface. It sparked, and then both overhead lights shutoff, and the headunit would not turn on. I checked the lights, and they are not blown, I also tried connecting all the wires on the back of the harness but the headunit is still not working. Any help would be apreciated.
