exhaust in the mail

so today i ordered my borla knock off headers and a vibrant slealth oval muffler

heres where my debate comes in.. leave the stock cat or buy a universal high flow magnaflow cat offline..?

is it really worth the extra 100?

loud isnt always better. will i gain anything noticeable with an aftermarket one?

and how much louder will it really be?

there is a noticeable and annoying difference in sound levels between a high flow cat and the stock cats plus the exhaust note will be more raspy with a high flow cat vs the stock stuff, and really unless you have cams/head work the hfc doesn't have a big impact

but good choice on what you've got in the mail

just stick with the stock cats, not really worth the cost of the new cat + exhaust shop labor. You won't gain a lot from switching to just 1 cat, hf or otherwise.
