Hey there, I have one last question about the BFM!

I redid the wiring from Matty ( who did an excellent job, just needed to extend the wires) , but the speed is the only thing that is not working, at all! It looks like I put the wire of the speed sensor in the correct position..

The BFM is an auto and my car is a manual. Maybe something is different?

SOmebody has an idea? It worked when I first received the cluster from Matty, so I guess theres a special position not marked in all the diagrams?

I didnt wired the P,R,D,N,1,2,3 because my car is a manual.

Thanks alot!!

Guillaume

What year is this in?

There is not really a major difference in the 5MT and 4EAT speed sensors on the BD, the only difference I could tell was that the 5mt sensor has a pigtail that comes out of it to extend it up to the harness. the 4EAT sensor has the connector right on the sensor. my 4EAT sensor threaded right into my 5mt, even though the 5mt came from an old impreza that used a cable speedo (all I had to do was remove a spacer where it threads in). I'm guessing your car is newer though, don't know about those.

Im talking about the cluster. I have an 2002 Outback 5mt. It worked when I first pluged in ( When I received it from Matty) but I redid the wiring and maybe theres a wire that I missed ( Maybe the P.N,R,D,1,2,3 has another function?)

There must be a thing I forgot or people had the same problem as I did..
