CObb 3'????? What should i do

I got a cobb three inch a few days ago for 75 dollars, a little bent up but not to bad. I need to fix the tip. Its bent so i cut it, and now it looks like ass, so where can i get a tip that is stock looking and weld on or how else could i fit it. Also would it hurt anything if i put it on my legacy gt if not boosted, a little big i know but man o man would it be nicer looking than the tanabe medallion muffler i have on my 2.5 piping! Any ides would help

A couple of us are/have been running a 3" catback and it sounds nice! I was running it on my 2.5 with borla headers and felt like I was more powerful and torquie. I have pics and info about running a wrx Borla cat-back in my (signiture) members ride thread.

If you are talking about Cobb SS muffler then I recently found one too. Welded it up myself and I really enjoy the rumble. No drone at all and you can defiantly hear it. I have unequal length borla, stock cats and just running the Cobb SS muffler axleback. :smt023 Good find.

To bad about the tip though. That was the selling point for me. Hopefully you can piece one together. Good luck.

yea i just need to get the tip re-done and i have myself a sweet exhaust setup.. Hopefully it will still look like a cobb ha

would it be bad looking, if i just added a three inch pipe for a tip from an exhaust shop??? It would look like the n/a cobb exhaust from the gc imprezas or a stromung single tip

I would suggest staying close to the stock cobb muffler. So stromung tip would be nice. How much do they run?
