Sceptor G/P326R tires?

Anyone heard of/used Sceptor G/P326R tires?

looks like they may be chinese, at that price. chinese tires are 50/50. sometimes you get more than you paid for and other times, you get alot less. some are heroic tires, others are down right dangerous. look clean though. :smt017 50/50 might call the website and ask them for more info, number of plys, area of manufacture, parent company stuff like that. if you can get more info, i can tell you more. i have a fair amount of experience in this area, i'll help how i can :grin:

I've scoured the web looking for info, but all I get are specs, nothing else:

yeah, seems like your best bet is to call these folks up and ask. if they are chinese i can call some friends of mine and find out more about the company that makes them, or at least give it a shot. when you ask them see if they know the parent company and or factory/region. good looking tires. tires from say... kenda? cool. tires from..oh... wan li? :-?

i was going to get a pair from vulcan but settled on the fusions from tirerack.. they seem to sell alot of different types of sceptors so maybe they arent that bad.

Thanks guys - the Dynamic Tire company site also lists Sumitomo HTRZ-III and Yokohama Advan S4 tires in their product range??? So they must be fairly decent...

tires here are chinese. look like they might be nice, but i wouldn't stick em on a ferrari :roll: if you DO buy them, keep us posted on how they suck and/or rock. if they lean towards rock, i'll look into a set of those, im thinking of upgrading my wheels soon. :grin: china makes about a 3rd of the worlds tires anyway, so they arent all bad, the issue is more of a regulation thing. without proper oversight, the tire companies will undercut each other left and right to gain market advantage, and in the process start lowering their quality dramatically. but saying that, there are some kickin tires to come outa china. keep me posted. :smt023

I am trying to decide between them and the Falken ZE-502's.

No, didn't buy anything just yet, but they are on my list to try out. I have a decent set of Yokohama all-seasons on my LGT wheels so I'm going to burn through them first and then try out the Sceptors.

I live right down the road from their warehouse, so I will have to stop by and take a visual inspection of the tire as well as talk with the workers and see how many they sell compared to other tires. :cool:

There's a guy around here with a sn95 mustang with lots of bolt ons, runs these for daily driver, autox and quarter mile and he said they are a decent all around tire, not bad in rain either.

Looks like they dont have them in the Utah Warehouse, only in the PA warehouse. So I was unable to take a look at them. :-(
