It is a closed loop system so it prob shouldn't hurt. I know us head gasket failure guys have about that much in ours. Lol. I wouldn't worry since it should still go through tstat. Change it when you can.

Yeah you need that out of there fast. I cant tell you exactly why it's bad but it is bad. I suppose if it hasn't been cold where you are you can drain the coolant/oil and replace with water until you can afford some more, don't do this if it's been freezing cold where you are.

Overall consensus is to drain your coolant, and refill - you will want to this maybe a couple of times to make sure you have the oil out ASAP.

This is like drinking something that should only be used to clean your face...

^ you could flush it by just putting in water, and draining it a couple times, you don't need to use coolant to help flush out more of the oil....

extend the top hose with more hose, or rolled tinfoil onto a large garbage can or something..(epa)

wait for thermostat to open....

put the garden hose into the top of the rad, turn it on, tun the car until it runs clear, refill with coolant.

might take a few minutes, and some fiddling with the hose, off/ on...off..on

its not the end of the world.

its just oil...and clean..no worse that radiator stop leak.

but yeah, sooner rather than later.

Nice to know. I thought it would not be a problem for a couple of days as long as it does not get below freezing. I know that he had to flush though due to build up.

^ you do know oil doesn't freeze right bud?

Yea I do. I was thinking that the oil might mess up the coolants freeze point and the oil would turn to sludge. Yea it sounds dumb now.

Oil also doesn't mix in with coolant or water :)

flush with lots water. oil + radiator hose isnt good, oil will soften rubber

drain, Flush, and replace ASAP

Yep. The hoses and o-rings in the cooling system don't work with oil, and combine that with the high temps of the cooling system, and it will destroy the hoses, and fast. Plus, oil and water makes sludge, that'll coat the cooling system and make it less effective. Possibly overheat. Bad.
