I did not see any on ebay for 30 dollars. The k&n replacement filter isnt that cheap.

Over all what do you think would be better if I got rid of the snorkus and put one pipe that goes to the front intake scoop thing and replace the filter with a k&n replacement. Or do this intake your talking about?

im not shure cause mines a 2 gen so i never did a pipe to the air scoop but i do know a cone air filter will have more of a swoosh sound when you accelerate.

doing a direct air feed from a pod to the throttle body will be the most unrestrictive intake path and it will obviously create the loudest induction sound. it'll also have the most noticeable effect to the cars throttle response. Both mods will free up the air intake but for the most noticeable effect go for a CAI with pod filter to throttle body and get rid of all the OEM intake set up all together

get or make an intake pipe which positions the pod in the engine bay where the airbox was then get some flexi pipe and make i direct air feed from the front or underside of the car, run it up the inside of the drivers side guard and feed it through the hole where the airbox was to bring cold air up to the pod.

Just buy the intake off of ebay its only about 30 bucks and for thet price you cant beat it.

hah yeah sorry my bad. but what i said still applies to gen 3 (disregard what i said about the airbox). Buy that intake pipe from ebay and install it with a pod and do the direct intake pipe from the guard or under tray. done
