Hi All,

New guy here from Central Asia of all the places. Mongolia to be specific. Been a long time admirer of SUBARUs which led me to buy my first Subie this past july. I really wanted a BE B4 RSK with manual , but what i reasoned myself down to was something totally different. Found out that 98 octane is nearly unobtainable here in Mongolia and pretty expensive if found. Twin Turbo+92 Octane=not a good outcome. After selling my offroader (Turbodiesel Bighorn with 5 speed manual) i stumbled upon a freshly imported 2001 B4 non turbo with 4AT and bought it the next day. So far it has been good to me and i have been pampering it as much as i did my previous cars. It just snowed here last week, so i am enjoying it with a deliberate sideways action here and there once in a while. Ok so enough of the talk , here are some pics of it[attachment=1:3irtt66l]IMG_0961.JPG[/attachment:3irtt66l]

Thanks for the warm welcome guys!

Yeah the color was a big deciding factor when i chose the car. It really stands out without being ricey. However the photo above deosnt do this color a justice. I will try to photograph it on a snow in a sunny day when it is the most beautiful. Or right after a rain.

Nice to see Subies from around the world. So is there a dealership in Mongolia? Also from your writing, it would seem you are an expat in Mongolia?

Thanks for the welcome! Yes there is a Subaru dealership in Mongolia. I think they are a subdivision of Subaru of China rather than being directly connected to Subaru Global, or Subaru of Japan(FUJI industries?). I usually go there to buy parts because i lost my faith in the mechanics knowledge there. He tried to put too much oil during the oil change (almost 5qts).
No i am not an expat (had to google the meaning). I was born and raised here in Mongolia, in the very west by Altay Mountains. Writing is thanks to Santa Ana College in California, and my passion to read anything about autos.

Welcome form Italy
